Dr. Campbell is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She has worked in mental health for over a decade in forensic settings, private practice, and government offices. Dr. Campbell has experience in providing psychological evaluations for children and adults, and court mandated cases.
Dr. Campbell served as the Clinical Director of Psychology Externship Training and Staff Psychologist at a Community Services Board (CSB) in the state of Virginia, where she directly supervised Doctoral Externs, as approved by the American psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC). Dr. Campbell worked directly with prominent universities and colleges in her role as Director of Psychology Externship Training.
Additionally, Dr. Campbell supports the growth of budding social scientists through academia. Dr. Campbell served as an Adjunct Faculty at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Washington D.C. Campus), where she taught Masters level courses in Psychopharmacology and Psychopathology.
Dr. Campbell provides psychotherapy and conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Campbell is Psychodynamically trained, and uses evidence-based approaches such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and other approaches to help clients heal and reach their potential.
Dr. Campbell earned her B.A. Degree in Psychology from the City University of New York (CUNY) Hunter College, and her M.A. Degree in Forensic Psychology from The Professional School of Psychology Argosy University (D.C. Campus). Dr. Campbell later earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Psychology Association (APA), Psi Chi, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
